I simply can not believe that this bid was ever made and that it must surely be some kind of odd joke that has no punch line but clearly Tottenham fans can relax as Wigan turned this supposed ‘bid’ down!

I'll not be convinced by any Wigan fan or indeed Heskey supporter in general that this former Liverpool man is in any universe a) worth such a bid and b) is good enough to have almost 50 caps (only seven less than Hoddle!). The idea that Juande Ramos would have think about ed this bid I simply can not believe. Do Tottenham fans think that this fantasy deal was even near to an actual reality?
